Total Vacancy: – 90 posts.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Forest Service exam Recruitment:-

Eligibility: – Bachelor’s degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering of any of Universities.

Salary: – Good Salary.

Number of attempts:- Every candidate appearing at the Examination, who is otherwise eligible, shall be permitted six attempts at the examination. Provided that this restriction on the number of attempts will not apply in the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates who are otherwise eligible.

Age limit for UPSC IFS Exam:- A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on 1st August, 2019, i.e. he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1987 and not later than 1st August, 1998.

Age relaxation:– 05 Years for SC / ST, 03 Years for OBC and Deference Services Personnel, 05 Years – if a candidate had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from the 1st January 1980 to the 31st December 1989, 05 Years for Ex-Serviceman and 10 Years for Physically Handicapped Candidates.

Registration & fees: – Candidates are required to apply online UPSC CSE exam only through the website www.upsconline.nic.in only. Remember to enter all the required details for civil services (prelims) exam as there is no option to modify it later.

In-order to successfully register your application, Rs.100 should be paid as fee. All Female, SC/ ST/ PH candidates are totally exempted from paying the fees.

This amount can be paid in any one of the following ways for UPSC CSE exam:

Using debit/ credit cards OR
By depositing cash in any branch of SBI OR
By using net banking of SBI/ State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur /State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala /State Bank of Travancore.

Indian Forest Service exam notification 2019: Examination scheme:-

1) Preliminary Examination:- This exam will have two compulsory Papers of 200 marks each.

2) Main Examination:-

Part- I

Paper I—General English (300 Marks).
Paper II—General Knowledge (300 Marks).

Papers III, IV, V and VI:—Any two subjects to be selected from the list of the optional subjects released by the commission. Each subject will have two papers— 200 marks for each paper.

Part- II
